We are working closely with Southeastern and local schools to create a publication, compiled by the students, of interviews with women working in the rail industry.
The students will be responsible for setting up and conducting the interviews, writing up the results, then helping to make sure it all gets published (and illustrated) so that it can be enjoyed by others. It’s not only a great way of busting stereotypes and understanding the amazing range of careers open to women in the rail industry, but also a fabulous way of gaining all sorts of new media skills too.
So watch this space!
